Cleaning line after rolling mill for PV-Ribbon
Based on over 20 years of experience in cleaning of wire, strips and profiles in steel application as well as non-ferrous alloys, GEO-Reinigungstechnik, together with one of the leading manufacturer of cold rolling mills for solar wire (PV-Ribbon), has developed a method for the cleaning of flat copper wire after the rolling process.
The process integrated system ensures excellent surface quality. Perfectly matched to the process the remaining carbon content at line speed up to 1000m/min is reduced to 0.002 mg/cm².
The method is based on a combination of various modules for cleaning and drying. The core component is GEO’s high-performance ultrasonic tube reactor.
The proven technology is easy to install and therefore suitable as an integral part for new production lines for PV-Ribbon as well as for retrofitting in existing installations.
