Oil skimmer
Oil skimmers are used wherever non-emulsified oils and floating dirt particles are to be separated from process fluids.
Oil skimmers are primarily used in the cleaning of emulsion-based coolants and lubricants for metalworking machinery. They are also suitable for the purification of process liquids where there are free oils on the liquid surface, e.g. for alkaline degreasing baths and industrial washing machines.
The principle is simple: a rotating special belt transports the oil from the surface of the liquid to the belt skimmer and scrapes it into a container.
Oil skimmers for fully automatic operation are characterized by their simple operation and compact design. They can be quickly and universally attached to almost all machines and systems.

Oil separators
Oil separators are used to separate floating oils and to maintain emulsion in centralized liquid containers. As a rule, these are continuous oil separators which physically achieve a phase separation. Insulated versions are used for the separation of oils from aqueous cleaning systems.
